How to Manage Google My Business
Google My Business is a great tool for every business. It does reduce the time spent on certain parts of your business, but not all. While it does allow you to receive excellent metrics from Google+, it does not allow you to manage your other social media networks.
Managing Google My Business, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media channels is not an easy task and will certainly take a lot time. Using a tool or a software like eClincher will allow you to manage all your social media accounts in one place. eClincher supports publishing and scheduling posts to Google My Business, responding to reviews and comments. It even let’s you manage multiple Google My Business locations.
Are you aware of how many people are viewing your website right now? How about your Google+ posts?
Insights give you the tools to find this out. With Google My Business, you can get visibility, engagement, and audience statistics.
3 Valuable Metrics
Visibility shows how many views your profile, photos, and posts receive in the last week, month, or 3 months on a cleanly designed graph.
Audience has a breakdown of everyone that follows you. It even includes valuable demographics like their country, age, gender, and more.
Engagement is the level of interaction your posts get via clicks, shares, and comments. This is shown graphically with the same time breakdown of a week, month, or 3 months.
The Reviews section of Google My Business is the most valuable part. Every review left on your profile is interactive. If someone, hypothetically, had a bad experience at your business, you could immediately reach out to them and mend that broken bridge using this section.
That kind of timely response is what some businesses would kill for.
Most customers are going to have a positive experience. You should encourage all of your customers to leave feedback to let others know how great their experience was. You can always offer discounts to your customers that leave feedback.
Google Hangouts provides a quick way for you to conference calls with customers, colleagues, and advisors.
Again the power of keeping all your business management tools into one or two programs will separate you from your competition.
If you’re not on Google Analytics for your SEO management, you need to get on it. The survival of your business depends on your ability to predict the trends of the internet. Google gave you access to Google Analytics on the dashboard.
It’s your key to understanding your website traffic inside and out. Not doing it is like driving blindfolded. There’s too much to cover on Google Analytics so I’ll just give you link and say, have at it!
I’ll admit there was a lot of to swallow here, so here’s a nice tight summary of why you need to get Google My Business working for you.
First, it will help your business get discovered by your target customers. If you’re using Google My Business and the right keywords your potential customers will no doubt find your company with ease.
Next, it will help you get more traffic to your website and pages, which will help your SEO and get you more clicks and purchases.
Lastly, your brand needs to be out there. Google My Business is a quick and easy way to make your brand looks great. I was amazed at its flexible nature when creating my page. You bring the pictures and Google does the rest.
