If you’re like me and you’re good with content and picking the right words and language to use for your article, chances are that you are not as good with design. I suck at design, but I think I’m good right?
I always know what I want a design to look like, but ultimately I have no clue what fonts, colors, and elements to pick. I can scribble it for you on a piece of paper, but beyond that I’m pretty much useless.
Unless you’re a superhero multitasker / IQ wizard you’re probably not gonna be good at both. And if you lack the design talent or capabilities you’re probably going to think of hiring someone to do the work for you.
The problem is that it’s hard to find the right designer, with the right vision for your project. You also might be debating whether it’s just worth it to hire a designer to be on your staff full-time, which is another conversation all in it self.
Instead of going into the boss’s office and asking for a new design budget all you need is a simple tool called Canva.
Convert is a program built for marketers content writers and business people that aren’t design savvy. It is filled with templates most of them free some of them are a dollar that help you bring your project to fruition very easy steps.

Let’s dive right into it.
When you log into eClincher you’ll see your publishing window. Choose a social media profile (or several), write your post, and click on the Canva button on the bottom to add an image.
Once you click on the button you will be prompted to choose an image size specific to the social media channel that you are designing for. If you want a general one click on the “fits all” size.
Once you choose the appropriate size Canva will open as a window within the eClincher platform that will prompt you to login to your Canva account.
Open an account if you don’t already have one, it’s free forever so the only thing you will be paying for is any paid templates or design elements, if you use them.
Choose from the templates on the left design something and click publish. Once you publish it will automatically save the design and attach it to the post in eClincher.
Now you can look over your post preview on the various social media channels that you’ve chosen and when you click schedule or post now it will post it the awesome deign that you created onto social media.
This is how you create a beautifully designed image using Canva. This way you don’t have to pay any designer, you can do the work yourself. Also, if you don’t have time or have a lot of designs to do and you really want to pay someone, at least you can use Canva to give them a really good idea of what you were looking for.
This is a great feature that have saved our customers a lot of time because previously the customers needed to use another design software or Canva separately and then save the image on their computer and put it in manually onto eClincher.
This way everything happens within the eClincher platform and you’re able to attach your design to the post and publish it automatically.
